Melanie Lajuwomi

My passion for styling hair began in high school, I loved finding updos in magazines and trying to recreate them on myself or friends. Shortly after graduation I attended cosmetology school in January 2000,  I seriously had no clue what I was doing, I just knew that I loved updos! Almost 20 years later my passion is still styling hair, whether it’s a blowout, a braid, or an updo. As a somewhat shy person, I love that being a stylist pushes me out of my comfort zone and allows me to meet so many different people, and I love being apart of special moments in people’s lives. But most of all I love taking care of people and making them feel beautiful! I am available on location or at The Austin Taylor Salon in south Moore.
